Is this actually bladeless or is it just covered blades?

Genuinely bladeless. The airflow is generated inside the base using a brushless motor and amplified through the ring — no hidden blades inside the ring itself. You can put your hand inside the ring safely. This is the same airflow multiplication technology (Air Multiplier design) that premium brands like Dyson pioneered.

How long does the battery last on a single charge?

At medium speed (Speed 5), expect 4–6 hours. At the lowest speed, you can stretch it to 8–9 hours. At full blast, around 2–3 hours. Most WFH users charge it overnight and use it through their workday without any issue.

Will this actually cool a room, or just the area around my desk?

Honest answer: it's a personal desk fan, not a room cooler. It excels at cooling the air within 1–2 metres of where it's placed — ideal for a desk setup. If you need to cool an entire room, you need an AC or desert cooler. But for personal comfort while working, it's excellent — especially with the mist function on.

Is it noisy? I'm on calls all day.

The brushless motor is genuinely quiet — measurably quieter than standard table fans. On speeds 1–4, most people can't hear it at all on a Zoom call. Speed 9 at maximum is audible but still not disruptive. We use it in our own studio while recording — it doesn't appear on audio.
